"Be Still" by Kelly Clarkson is such a good song. It's so peaceful, and makes me feel so sleepy. It's one of Kelly's softer songs. If you are ever suffering from insomnia, give the song a listen.
A Song From Your Favorite Band
I don't know that I have a favorite band. I have favorite artists. If I had to pick a favorite band, right now it would be Rascal Flatts. One my favorite songs from them is "Cool Thing" I like the beat, and the story. It's about a guy working at a beach parasailing place, and a girl makes her way to him, she sails.. and then they have a day together. Neither of them were looking for anything, but they had that perfect day. It's a nice thought.

A Song You Know All The Words To
I know the words to many songs, but one that is in my head at the moment, "Traveling Soldier" by The Dixie Chicks. Such a good song. It takes me back to a happy place in life and although the song is sad, it makes me happy.
A Song You Can Dance To
One song that I love to dance to is "Shake It" by Metro Station. If you have never heard this song, I strongly recommend it! It's catchy and so fun!! Great beat. So fun to sing a long to. Kids love it too.

Day 7 A Song That Reminds You Of A Certain Event
Wow this is a really hard one. I guess it would have to be "Something" by The Beatles. It reminds of when I got my Volkswagen Beetle. It had been my dream car. So adorable. I just remember driving anywhere and everywhere with that song blaring. Not that big of an event. hahah

Days 5 & 6 A Song That Reminds You or Someone/Somewhere
A Song That Reminds Me Of Someone
I only had to think about this for a second. No doubt the song "Gone" By Kelly Clarkson will forever remind me of my friend Kathryn. I remember driving all around, and she would roll the window down and scream the song. We were both going through hard break ups, Kelly was our voice. That is song that reminds me the most, but Kelly still reminds me of her.

"Hard To Say I'm Sorry" by Chicago always takes me back to when I worked in a file room at a dr's office. There were some really fun memories. We used to choreograph to all sorts of songs. I remember us demonstrating our talents to this song particularly. You get a little crazy when you spend 8 hours cooped up in a basement everyday.

Currently a song that makes me happy is "Firework" by Katy Perry. I think it's such an uplifting song. It tells you to harness all you are worth and flourish. It sends a great message. Everyone should "own the night, like the 4th of July". I can't help but smile when I hear it.

I am not sure but there is not one time I hear "Temporary Home" by Carrie Underwwod and not choke up. I don't think it's meant to be so sad, it's about a boy in the foster system, a single mom in homeless shelter, and an old man in resting home. All of them know the home they have now is only temporary and they will find a real home later. The part that that just gets me is the old man. Carrie's voice as it cracks when the old man tells his family not to feel sad, and he can see God's face. Gets me every time!

Days 1 & 2 Favorite and Least Favorite Songs
My current Favorite song is "Just The Way You Are" It's by Bruno Mars, but I really like the Glee version. It's so upbeat, and such a nice thought that someone wouldn't want to change you. My favorite song changes all the time.
My LEAST favorite song has to be "Baby" by Justin Bieber... I hate that song!! I do NOT get the appeal of this kid!!
